Excited about Natural building? Enjoy being creative in nature?

A two-day immersive introduction to large-scale sculptural building using earth, clay, straw and natural fibres - exploring the expressive, structural and sensory potential of mud in three dimensions. We will be working together to a pre-determined design (given the limited time) to create a 3D sculpture in a similar style to Rebecca’s work at Medicine Festival.

This workshop is ideal for anyone curious about working sculpturally with natural materials, whether you're new to sculpture/ clay plaster or looking to expand your practice.

What will you gain?

In this workshop, expect to learn the fundamentals of working with earth/ cob/ clay plaster in a sculptural and artistic way. We will have 2 days of hands-on immersive learning nestled in beautiful surroundings. We’ll be working together to create a large scale sculptural and art piece using earth and fiber.

This is an introductory workshop aiming to offer a taster/ gateway into creating sculptures using raw earth. Please stay tuned for longer workshops if you would prefer a deep dive.
